I just purchased and setup my DX4800 Pro to replace a Synology NAS. Sync is up and running from my Mac to the Ugreen NAS with no issues. I would like to use my Synology NAS as a backup for all files on in the new Ugreen NAS. Is this supported? I have enabled rsync on both devices and setup a shared folder on Synology with my admin read/write permissions but each time I try either sync or run the backup and put in the ip of my synology nas it fails to connect. Some online say this only supports backups from ugreen to ugreen. Anyone know if this is true?

But yes, from what I’ve read, you can’t always sync between various NAS brands using the built in Sync software.
