I have setup my NAS and it is working great. The only question is how to map user folders to windows. I am able to see and map shared folders but not user folders. Is this possible or does it only allow mapping of shared folders?
You can map the personal folders, not the user folders. Don’t ask me what the difference is, as the personal folders appear in the user folder.
That is the problem I’m having. Can’t map any folders in the user folder only the shared folders.
As I wrote, you can’t map things in the user folder, you need to map things in the personal folders and it can only be accessed by the user account that that said personal folder belongs to.
Check under the “briefcase” in Files and then Personal folder management to make sure you have set up the various user accounts to have access to the personal folders.
As you can see, it works just fine.
