I have a local shop selling 12TB SAS drives at price close to 8TB SATA. Will they work with DXP4800 ? The connector looks same , maybe there is some software hack or something that can make tem work ?
Sadly the answer is no.
SATA drives can be used with some SAS controllers, not the other way around.
